A Muse may be immortalised in a photo, painting or play, a film, anime or novel and, in
the lines of a popular song or a herione in opera. The most famous, are celebrated in their own right.
The poetess "Sappho of Lesbos" was given the compliment of being called "the tenth Muse" by Plato.
Muses possess the essential qualities needed to inspire an artist; arouse emotions that further artistic
talent; enkindle love and jealousy; broaden creative horizons and; offer original insight into a different way of life.
